The conference was dedicated to the understanding of the interrelationship between migration, education and development and the prevention of violent extremism. The conference was organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). At the seminar, IOM experts presented an overview of regional IOM research paper in the field of migration: "Vulnerability of migrants and the need for integration in Central Asia." In their presentations, experts reviewed the trends of return migration, the economic consequences of migration, the political aspects of return migration, focused on the vulnerabilities of migrants identified during research. During the seminar, issues such as factors that attracted and pushed migrants, activation of various measures to counteract the radicalization of migrants, the role of education in preventing the radicalization of not only migrants, but also of the general population of the region, were discussed.
